Have you noticed how sometimes when you are writing, the more you struggle, the more difficult it is to find the right words? Yet on other occasions words appear like magic, almost without having to think about them; a special energy takes over and your writing becomes powerful and inspiring?  

Paradoxically, some of the best pieces are those that come with almost no effort and this inspirational and innovative workshop, led by journalist Judi Goodwin will unblock the barriers to your creativity and provide an opportunity to build confidence, power and fluency. You will learn the secret of really connecting with your readers at a powerful level by first connecting with yourself.  

Whether you want to write fiction, family history, articles or best sellers, marketing or business communications, or a personal journal, this workshop will help you explore skills you never realised you had and inject energy, power and magic into everything you write. It is equally suitable for those with some previous experience and for complete beginners; what is important is a desire to write.

The workshop will be based around group tuition sessions on five mornings a week and there will also be an opportunity for one-to-one sessions.

During the week you will learn how to 

•   make writing an enjoyable, fun experience

·         write with increased fluency and ease

·         gain confidence and avoid writer’s block

·         write as naturally as you speak

·         structure your writing effectively

·         write powerfully and persuasively

·         improve pace, readability and style

·         communicate from the heart and the head

·         inspire and motivate your readers

Afternoons will be free, leaving plenty of time either to explore Paxos or simply relax so come and join us for a most enjoyable week and at the same time have a wonderful holiday in a truly fabulous location. 

Course Cost: The course costs £545 per person, which includes tuition as described above, accommodation in a shared twin/double room in a villa with private swimming pool near Loggos, one of the three main villages on Paxos, and a breakfast hamper. Transfers between Corfu airport and your accommodation on Paxos can be arranged at additional cost, as can optional activities such as Greek cookery, Greek dancing, boat trips and walks.

It is also possible for anyone who has their own accommodation or who wishes to be more independent just to join the group tuition sessions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

'Unleash Your Writing Power' is open to people of all ages and abilities aged 18 or over. However, Paxos is a relatively hilly island and we therefore do not feel that it is suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Minimum number of participants: All our holidays, courses and activities require a minimum number of participants in order for them to operate. The minimum number of participants required for the 'Unleash Your Writing Power' course to operate is 6.

Second Holiday/Course Discount: We will give you a discount of £40 if you book any two holidays or courses in Summer 2011.
