MONADENDRI
Going south from Lakka there are several small beaches
(Arkoudaki,
Orkos and Lakkos) before you come to Monodendri Beach,
which is by far the most popular beach along this
stretch of coastline and a 40 minute walk or ten minute
drive from Lakka. Monodendri is an organised beach with
sunbeds and umbrellas and two very good tavernas, one
very attractively arranged over terraces leading down to
the beach; watersports are also available. The beach
itself is very long and made up of large white pebbles;
it shelves quite steeply.
